What ended your last run?

Choose the problem first. Then change the next upgrade.

GETTING SURROUNDED

Make room before more damage

Move in broad loops near the arena’s outside. Keep the swarm following behind you rather than crossing through it for a pickup.

Next move → keep an escape lane
SAFE, BUT CLEARING SLOWLY

Build projectile coverage

With a projectile weapon, look for extra projectiles, attack speed and Multishot. More attacks cover the pack while you keep moving.

Next pick → coverage + attack speed
LOSING HEALTH / BOSS NEARBY

Take the survival upgrade

Choose health, defense or a balanced Power Trio option when offered. Another damage pick is not useful if the run ends before it pays off.

Next pick → survive the next pressure spike
Roblox Guides uses around wave 5 for constant movement and wave 8 for survival upgrades. Those are July-guide examples, not fixed breakpoints for every world. Respond to your current health and enemy pressure.

A build you can actually picture

Banana Rang+Projectiles+Attack speed+Multishot

A concrete early-game option is the Banana Rang projectile build shown by AbductedByRobloxians. Combine Banana Rang with projectile-count upgrades, attack speed and Multishot when offered. More simultaneous attacks cover a wider swarm; movement speed helps you keep that space. The creator had unusually lucky upgrades and had bought a starter bundle, so this is an example to adapt, not a guaranteed free-to-play result or the September best weapon.

The creator eventually stands still in that run, but do not use that as an opening strategy. If damage is getting through, move and add survival. Near the end, the creator waits by the exit portal and leaves when health drops using the displayed interaction (E in the video). Use your own on-screen prompt; no target multiplier guarantees a safe exit.

Spend between runs, too

Temporary attack speed and permanent damage are different decisions.

  1. Damage
  2. Max Health → Defense
  3. Player Speed → Pick-up Range
  4. Attack Range → remaining skills
  5. Luck later

Separate temporary run choices from permanent lobby upgrades. A projectile run can favor attack speed while your long-term Skill Tree starts with damage. Roblox Guides recommends this permanent order: Damage → Max Health → Defense → Player Speed → Pick-up Range → Attack Range → other remaining skills → Luck. This is a creator recommendation from July, not an official mandatory sequence or a complete current tree.

Before spending on a chest, inspect what it can contain. In AbductedByRobloxians’ July run, selecting the chest and its eye icon reveals the available items. Use that preview to check for a weapon you want; it does not establish a guaranteed drop or the current odds. UI placement may change with updates.

If you keep dying before the next boss, the early health/defense steps address that weakness; if you are clearing reliably, continue the permanent route before repeatedly spending on random chests. The same guide favors the Skill Tree over chest gambling for long-term progression. For example, a new player choosing between another random chest and the next useful permanent node should follow that node-first recommendation; a player saving for a specific event chest has a different task, covered in the event guides. No exact node prices or respec rules are claimed.

Final Swarm is the Roblox action RPG by Evolution Studio Games: survive waves, earn Keys, upgrade or unlock weapons, improve the loadout and move through worlds. Open the linked official experience with place ID 99521272836282 so you do not confuse it with Megabonk's final-swarm phase. The official snapshot on September 16 shows the [🔥LIMITED] title. That title verifies the current promotion, not every numerical claim in community guides.

After the tutorial, get reward codes on the codes page. Returning for the event? The Inferno guide separates normal-world earnings from quest progress; Weapon Week explains when waiting to open chests helps. These pages answer distinct decisions, rather than repeating this full beginner route.

Before you queue again

Should I always take damage first?

No. The damage-first recommendation is for permanent Skill Tree spending. A projectile run may benefit more immediately from attack speed, Multishot or more projectiles; if health is dropping, survival can take priority.

Should I wait for a bigger final multiplier?

Only while the run remains safe. In the example video, the creator stays near the portal and exits when health drops. That run is not a guarantee of a safe multiplier for your equipment.

Where are the complete weapon rankings?

This launch gives a concrete beginner example, not a complete current ranking. Recent weapons and balance changes need comparable evidence before a universal tier list would be useful.
